As I contributed literally nothing to the game against my old team, Pulborough, I can only express my deepest thanks to my team mates for their performances, which made the victory such a special day for me. Bob, Malcolm and Adrian for scoring most of the runs and Joe and Matt for taking most of the wickets and not forgetting two superb catches from Phil K. 

Obviously Pulborough could have been stronger, but made the mistake of thinking they would have enough for a little team from Hertfordshire. 

I was so pleased though, to see how my old club has developed, nets, covers and a motorised heavy roller were things I could have only dreamed of when I last played there as a 15 year old, 45 years ago. 

Thank you again guys, I was very proud of Ivanhoe and every player in that team on Sunday.
