Ivanhoe Tour 2010

Please note your diaries that the date for next seasons tour is confirmed as 4/5/6 June to the Halesworth area of Suffolk. As discussed at the AGM Steve Wilson has arranged the fixtures so a big thanks to him.Ground locations are linked off the Fixtures page.

Match details

Friday 4th: 20/20 evening match proposed start time 5.30pm. against The Druids C.C. another touring side based in Harrogate.
Game to be played at Southwold C.C. Lovely ground, brand new clubhouse. Suggest that it might be sensible to get to Southwold earlier to avoid traffic and to enjoy all that this lovely seaside town has to offer including a nice pint or two of Adnams! Or even play 9 holes on Southwold Golf Course which is next to the ground.

Saturday 5th June: 40 over a side afternoon game against Rumburgh C.C. start time 1.30pm.
Good wicket and outfield, ground is actually in Rumburgh village, they have changing rooms and toilets but no showers. Good teas and a meal in the pub afterwards. There is also Halesworth Golf Course about 4 miles away if any one fancies a game in the morning.

Sunday 6th June: 40 over a side game against East Harling C.C. Start time 1.00pm.
Nice ground, good teas and good facilities with their own bar and clubhouse. This ground in the village of East Harling is south west of Norwich on the Norfolk/Suffolk border just off the A11 on the B1111 and just past Snetterton race track and on the way home.
